Explore Summer is an initiative that inspires our community to read, learn and explore all summer long. We’re hosting programs for ALL ages including story times, book clubs, outdoor activities, lectures and much more!

Explore Summer Celebration
Thursday, August 22 from 4:30 – 6:30 PM
Did you complete your Explore Summer activities? Then, you’re invited to our Explore Summer Celebration! Drop-in for a Bubble Playground in the library’s yard! Make small and giant bubbles with the Mega Bubble Man and pick out a free book to keep.
All ages are welcome.
WAYS TO PARTICIPATE
Toddlers to 2nd Grade
Toddlers to kids going into 2nd grade will complete activities throughout the summer at home and at the library. When kids finish the activities in their booklets, they are invited to attend our Explore Summer Celebration Thursday, August 22nd from 4:30 – 6:30 PM.
3rd to 6th Grade
Kids going into 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grades will complete activities throughout the summer at home and at the library. Every activity you complete gives you a chance to win a local gift card. When kids finish the activities in their booklets, they are invited to attend our Explore Summer Celebration Thursday, August 22nd from 4:30 – 6:30 PM.
7th thru Adult
Read, Read, Read! Stop by the library to receive an Explore Summer book mark. Bring your completed book mark back to the library and receive a ticket for each book you read. Each ticket is an entry for our end of summer raffle prizes!
