The Prevention of Domestic Violence

In this talk, Loren Cunningham (Director of Community Engagement and Prevention Strategy at Vera House) will discuss how rigid gender norms can promote or contribute to gender-based violence. The public is invited to come to listen and discuss ways they can take an active role in the prevention of domestic violence. This program is in collaboration with the ZONTA Club of Skaneateles and Vera House. No registration.

Guitar Concert: Music School of CNY Holiday Concert

The Music School of CNY Classic Guitar Ensemble is a talented group of music students dedicated to promoting the classic guitar literature and its rich history throughout the community. The group performs a wide variety of music representing many cultures from around the world dating from the Renaissance to the present day. The ensemble at times features additional instruments and performers to achieve a rich, dynamic and full range of sound. These students are studying with John Ferrara, who also performs with and directs the group. Free. No registration.
