Early Literacy Kits

Each Early Literacy Kit has a kid friendly theme and contains books and activity items. Some of the available kit themes are: Amazing Animals, Bedtime, Bugs, Construction, Dinosaurs, First Words, Food & Cooking, Monsters, Music & Rhythm, Numbers & Counting, Oceans, Shapes & Colors and Trucks.

Explore the World Backpacks

This growing collection of backpacks will take you around the world to discover different cultures and countries. Designed for ages 8+. This collection was made possible with a generous grant from the Central New York Library Resource Council.

Discovery Backpacks

The Discovery Backpacks are geared towards families and contain both children’s books and adult books along with tools and activity items.

Adult Kits

We also have a variety of kits available for our adult patrons. These kits contain useful tools and resources.

Tonieboxes

A Toniebox is a speaker made just for kids that can play stories, music, and more. Our kits include a Toniebox, headphones, and several Tonies (little figures that you place on the speaker to start the audio). Kids can discover a whole world of stories, music, and learning – all audio, no screens! You can even listen to recordings of Miss Mary Beth’s storytimes. The Tonieboxes are designed for little listeners ages 3+ (or younger with a little more help). We also have 6 themed Story Packs with 5 Tonies each to keep your little one engaged: Disney I and II, Favorite Stories I and II, Popular Characters and Mindfulness + Music.
